I'm Hannibal

I'm Hannibal, one of five Filipinos who are here in Osaka, Japan for a one-month software design training. I'll introduce the rest of the Filipinos later, but for now, let me tell you about myself and how I got here.



I'm a computer programmer who recently passed the certification exam conducted by the Philippine National IT Standards Foundation (click here for October 2007 results). I'm ninth on the list, FE02-0165.

I've been a professional programmer since 1989, having chosen to make my fortune in information technology rather than in civil engineering—my major in college.

While I introduce myself as Chief Programmer of my own software company, Cornerstone Software, Inc. (Note: Not related to the US-based company with the same name), I am really an entrepreneur or business manager at heart, an engineer by training and a Gemini at birth.
