Year of the Rat

It's my first trip outside the Philippines in a decade and I was determined to welcome the Year of the Rat somewhere else. It was an optimistic declaration that the coming year will be lucky for me. So, I had to grab an opportunity. And I was lucky enough to avail of an AOTS-sponsored training in Osaka, Japan.

I thought it was great to be boarding a plane four times to go to Osaka, Japan and back. Apparently, JAL doesn't fly directly from Cebu to Japan. I had to fly on a Korean Airlines flight to Incheon, South Korea where I will finally boarded JAL for Osaka, Japan.



At about 2:00am, I practically left Cebu on the eve and first day of the Year of the Rat. But I was really sleepy when I arrived in Korea. I was disoriented and alone in a strange country. Maybe it was a good thing that the area was foggy when I arrived. It matched my mood perfectly.
